DC Board of Elections and Ethics. This site permits you to register to vote online, check the Status of Your voter registration request, find Your polling place and request an absentee ballot


DC City Council. The Council's official website gives the organization and membership of the City Council, information on Council meetings and how you can participate, and the ability to track the status of legislation pending before the Council.


DC Delegate to Congress. Eleanor Holmes Norton's website includes news of interest to District residents and information about constituent services.


DC Department of Motor Vehicles. The DMV's website permits you to skip the lines and engage in several driver and vehicle transactions online. Services relating to drivers' licenses, vehicle registration, ticket payment and parking permits are available.



DC Government Service Request Center. The Washington, DC government website now includes a unified service request form that permits you to make service requests and track their status. Areas covered include abandoned vehicles, alley cleaning, lights and repair, bulk collection, curb and gutter repair, dead animal removal, graffiti removal, grass mowing, illegal dumping, leaf collection, litter can service and repair, parking enforcement, parking meters, pavement markings, pothole repair, rat abatement, recycling, residential parking permits, sanitation, sidewalk repair, signs (parking and street name), street cleaning and repair, streetlight repair, traffic signs and signals, trash collection, tree maintenance, utility cut repairs, vacant lots and yard waste collection.  It requires a one-time registration on the DC Government website.


DC Taxpayer Service Center. The District Government's Taxpayer Service Center provides services and information that business and individual income taxpayers need to comply with the District's tax laws. It also includes information on property assessments, ownership and address changes, tax billings, tax relief program administration, and land recordation for real property in the District of Columbia.


Public Library of the District of Columbia. The DC Public Library System maintains this site to keep residents up to date about library services, news and events. You can also visit the Cleveland Park Neighborhood Library site by clicking here.
